Atlanta bread, Amazon and Walmart all in the mix for new stores
Atlanta is the epicenter of the retail juggernaut that is Amazon.
The city is home to over 2,500 stores, and is home also to many other retailers, such as Whole Foods and Walmart.
However, the new Amazon headquarters in Atlanta may be more of a boon for the local economy than a boon to the company.
According to a report by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Amazon is planning to open a new Walmart in the city next year.
The new stores would be in the former Target store and the current Walmart, which is located in the same building as the old Target.
Walmart has said it plans to build a new store in the building next to its former headquarters, but Amazon hasn’t yet made an official announcement.
A report by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution says that the company is planning the new store next to the Target site, which has been vacant since 2014.
This will make it easier for Amazon to move forward with building the new Walmart.
The Atlanta Business Journal noted that Amazon also plans to expand its warehouse space in the area, as well as build a parking lot.
