Cinnamon swirl bread recipe

CINNAMON SWIRL BREAD Recipe 1/4 cup butter, melted 1/2 cup flour, plus more for dusting 3/4 tsp salt 1 cup flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/8 tsp cinnamon 3/8 cup packed brown sugar 1/3 cup granulated sugar 3/5 cup whole wheat pastry flour 3/10 tsp salt 3/15 tsp baking soda 1 cup butter 1/5 tsp salt and pepper 2 eggs 1/10 cup all-purpose flour 1/12 cup granular Splenda 1 cup sugar 1 tbsp vanilla extract 1/6 tsp baking liquid 1 cup milk (I used whole milk) 1 tsp cinnamon 2 tbsp lemon juice 1/1 tsp vanilla extract and more salt for sprinkling Directions: In a medium bowl, combine butter, flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, and sugar.

Stir in eggs and vanilla.

Add flour mixture and mix until well combined.

Divide dough in half and then roll into balls and place in prepared pan.

Bake in preheated oven at 425 degrees for 45-60 minutes.

Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes.

Let cool on wire racks for a few minutes before serving.

Recipe Notes: For cinnamon swirl bread mix ingredients into a bowl and add flour mixture.

Let stand for 5 minutes.

Spread cinnamon swirl on top of bread.

Notes: You can substitute any powdered sugar for the flour or brown sugar, and the icing can be omitted.

The recipe also makes 2 cinnamon swirl cakes with 2 slices of bread, but this recipe makes 4 cinnamon swirl cake with 2 strips of bread each.
