When does the best pizza cost more than $7? | Panera Bread
Panera has a new bread called the Bistro Boulangerie, and the company says it will be the cheapest bread around for the foreseeable future.
The bread is made by a small company in Quebec, which has an existing partnership with Panera, but the two companies announced today that Panera’s bread will be available to Panera customers in Canada as well.
Panera Bread Boulangersie, $7.49 a slice (or $9.95 for a double patty)Source: Panera via The VergeBreads are expensive in the US, but they’re actually cheaper than the ones you’d get at most restaurants.
According to The Verge, the cheapest Panera bread you can buy right now is a double crust ($7.89), but that’s because it’s made by Panera and not some other small company.
The price of the Panera Boulangierie has also been raised to $9 per slice.
Panera says it’s aiming for a price point of $9 in Canada, but we’re not sure if that’s possible given that Paneras bread is sold in a number of other countries.
Here are some other breads from Panera.
Paneramas boulangeries are also available in the UK, but it seems like Panera only makes bread in Canada.
If you’re looking for the cheapest option, Panera also makes a variety of other bread that’s cheaper, but still good value.
